While taking Cornerstone of Engineering, four classmates and I created a piezoelectric keyboard prototype that generated energy while typing. The box housing the keyboard was designed using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Key presses toggled a row of MiniSense-100 sensors that generated energy. The energy was collected using a diode rectifier then recorded and displayed using an Arduino.
